Euston Railway Station, London

Euston Station is as a central London railway terminal located on Euston Road in the London Borough of Camden. An underground station of the same name directly connects with the railway station. Euston Square is another underground station but not connected to the railway station and about 150 metres (500 feet) away.

Euston Station comprises of 18 platforms and is the fifth busiest railway station in London and the UK. The station connects London with the cities and towns in the West Midlands, North West England, North Wales and Scotland. Virgin Trains operates high-speed trains from the station while the Caledonia Sleeper operates overnight trains to Scotland.

Location

Euston Station is located between Eversholt Street and Hampstead Road and the frontage facing Euston Road (A501) on the London Inner Ring Road. Within walking distance, east of the station is Regent’s Park and south is the British Museum.

 
 

Railway Lines

Euston Station is the southern terminal for the West Coast Main Line with four train companies operating on the line. London Midland trains depart to Milton Keynes, Northampton, Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent. First ScotRail trains depart to Carlisle, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Fort William and Inverness. Virgin Trains depart to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Holyhead, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Transport at Euston RailwayStation

London Underground's Euston Station directly connects with the railway station providing convenient access for travellers between the two stations. The underground station serves trains on the Northern and Victoria Lines. Another underground station but not connected to the railway station is Euston Square Station serving trains on the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan Lines. The pick up and drop off point for cars is below the station entering from Melton Street. The taxi rank is also below the station - take the stairs from the concourse or take the lift near the ticket office to the taxi rank. The car park is below the station near the taxi rank and accessed from Melton Street. Bicycle racks are available and located in front of the station, Platform 16, West Colonnade (near Sainsbury) and East Colonnade (near M&S).
