King's Cross Railway Station, London

King’s Cross Station is a central London terminal situated on the eastern end of Euston Road. It's the southern terminal for the East Coast Main Line. The line runs along the eastern side of the UK mainland serving cities and towns in East England, Yorkshire, North East England and Scotland.

The station is adjacent to St Pancras International, the London terminal for the Eurostar trains. There are 12 platforms at the station numbered 0-11 with Platform 0 being the longest platform designed for longer trains. Below the two railway stations is the King’s Cross St Pancras (Underground) Station.


King’s Cross Station is located between Pancras Road (east of the station) and York Way (west of the station). South of the railway station is the eastern end of Euston Road, which is part of the London Inner Ring Road.


Railway Lines

Virgin Trains and Great Northern are the operators at King's Cross Station. Virgin operates several high-speed train trains through a number of routes to Leeds, York, Newcastle upon Tyne, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Perth and Inverness. Great Northern operates services to the outer suburban destinations that include North London, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Transport at King's Cross Station

London Underground's King's Cross St Pancras Underground Station directly connects with the railway station providing convenient access for travellers between the two stations. The underground station serves trains on the Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria Lines. There are bus stops nearby on Euston Road, Pancras Road and York Way. The pick up and drop off point for cars is outside the station on Pancras Road. A taxi rank is also located next to the station on Pancras Road. Car parking facilities are located on Pancras Road adjacent to the St Pancras International railway station. Bicycle racks are available and located at Platforms 0, 1, 8 and 9 as well as on the ground and first level of the car park.
