Visitor Centre in the City of London

The City of London is a city, district, county and a small part of the London metropolis. The area is widely referred as ‘the City’ (with a capital C) and informally known as the ‘Square Mile’ since it covers a small area of only 1.1 sq miles (2.9 sq km). The City is a major business and financial district in London, home to many big corporations and financial institutions. The London Stock Exchange and Bank of England are also located in the City.

Location

The City of London visitor centre known as the City Information Centre is located between St Paul's Cathedral and the Millennium Bridge. There are several London Underground stations in the City with the nearest to the visitor centre being Blackfriars and Mansion House Stations. Boats under the London River Services make stops at Blackfriars Millennium Pier, which is within walking distance from the visitor centre.

 
 

Opening Hours

Open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
