Aberdeen International Airport (IATA: ABZ) serves Scotland’s northeastern region and about 6 km (9 miles) from Aberdeen’s city centre. The airport is the third busiest airport in Scotland, handling over 3 million passengers in 2017. International flights include scheduled and seasonal flights within Europe including many holiday destinations. Aberdeen Airport is a regional base for BMI Regional, Eastern Airways, Flybe and Loganair. The airport comprises of a single runway and one passenger terminal equipped with a range of services and facilities for the convenience of the passengers. Shops include World Duty Free, Boots and Dixon Travels. There is also WHSmith where can you purchase magazines, newspapers, confectionery, snacks and drinks. A left luggage facility is available charging £8 per item per day. The premium Northern Lights Executive Lounge offers travellers who wish to relax before their flight.

Ground Transport

There are local buses departing from the airport to Aberdeen’s city centre and other destinations - services are less frequent on weekends and in the evenings. The Jet Service 727 is an airport bus service departing to Aberdeen Union Square bus station. The Jet Service 727 buses travel between Peterhead and Dyce via the airport. If you prefer a taxi, there are taxis waiting just outside the terminal. Car rental companies here include Alamo, Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz, National and Sixt.
