Bournemouth Airport (IATA: BOH) is an airport situated in South England located about 7 km (4 miles) northeast from the coastal city of Bournemouth and 19 km (12 miles) from the seaport at Poole. Other airports serving South England include Exeter Airport, Bristol Airport and Southampton Airport. Bournemouth Airport is a small airport and handled around 700,000 passengers in 2017. The airport comprises of a single runway and one passenger terminal for arrivals and departures. The airport has several services and facilities for the convenience of the passengers. WHSmith has outlets located before and after security selling magazines, newspapers, confectionery, snacks and drinks.

Ground Transport

Yellow Bus A1 departs (7 a.m. to 8 p.m.) from Bournemouth Airport to Bournemouth’s city centre with a few stops in between including Bournemouth Railway Station. National Express operates a coach (long distance bus) service departing from the airport to various destinations including Birmingham, Liverpool, London, Edinburgh and Glasgow. You can book for a taxi at the taxi desk in the arrivals hall and can find the taxis waiting outside the terminal. You can find car rental companies at the Car Rental Building, which is a short walk from the terminal and companies here include Europcar and Hertz.
