Norwich Airport (IATA: NWI) is a minor international airport in East Anglia located about 5 km (2 miles) north from Norwich’s city centre and about 160 km (100 miles) northeast from London. It’s a small airport comprising of one runway and a single passenger terminal for arrivals and departures. Norwich Airport is the 29th busiest airport in the UK and handled 528,000 thousand passengers in 2017. However, there are plans to increase the passenger traffic to 930,000 by 2030 and 1.4 million by 2045. Though currently a small airport, it has several services and facilities for the convenience of the passengers. Ground transport from Norwich Airport includes buses, taxis and car rentals.

Cafe Oasis has two outlets, one located in the main concourse (before security) and another in the departure lounge (after security). Foods served include a full breakfast menu, sandwiches, bakery items and snacks. Eclipse Duty Free is located in the departure lounge and stocks over 2,000 items at less than high street prices. WHSmith is located in the check-in hall and sells magazines, newspapers, confectionery, snacks and drinks. There is a premium lounge for travellers wishing to relax before their flight.
The Airport Park & Ride bus service departs from the terminal building to Norwich’s city centre. The nearest bus stop to the airport for local buses is on Cromer Road (adjacent to Tesco Express), which is about eight minute walks from the terminal. You can find taxis waiting at the rank in front of the terminal. Car rental companies at Norwich Airport include Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz and you can find their desks located in the arrivals area.
